What are these made of?
If you haven't been to my Flickr album yet, what would you say these are made of?
Give up?
Come on, what do you think?
Plastic, yes, not polymer plastic, like polymer clay, but Friendly Plastic! Yup!!!
It was big in the 80s and is now making a comeback!
You can view more here, on the Flickr Friendly Plastic Pool
If you really like it, and know what it is, or have some stashed away from your youth, you can join the Yahoo!Group, dedicated to Friendly Plastic.
I'm still experimenting, but if you want some "how to" tips, go to Liz Welch's website.
Those of you who are under the impression that we're getting a new car (Danielle?) we are not! LOL! We're just getting ours refurbished! We bought it third or 4th hand, and it needs a bit of TLC :) but maybe it will smell new, who knows?
That's all for now, nothing very exciting to report other than Friendly Plastic (and we just got a call, our car might be ready by Monday!! Wahoo!!!)

Your stuff is soooooo beautiful, France! Never heard of friendly plastic, but I never would have guessed plastic in a million years. I hope your Etsy shop is doing booming business!
I've got a few pieces of friendly plastic left from the 80's, looks like I'm going to have to pull it out again!
Great results, France. Love the abstract domino.... that colour combo is so striking!
Lovely France, I thought they were Polyclay!
You got me!...I thought they were polymer clay. Fabulous 'experiments, France!
Great stuff France, like I need another craft to play with! lol.
Cheers!
